LorAnn’s super strength flavors (also known as candy oils or flavoring oils) are three to four times the strength of water or alcohol-based flavorings or “extracts”.
The LorAnn Super Strengt Flavors are concentrated flavors, also known as candy oils or candy flavors. These flavors contain no vegetable oils. The term candy oil refers to a type of flavor that is concentrated and undiluted. These flavors are 3 to 4 times stronger than flavors based on water and alcohol.
When substituting these flavors for extracts, use ¼ to ½ teaspoon for 1 teaspoon of extract. These flavors don't diminish when exposed to high heat.
These flavors are suitable for fondant and marzipan. Due to the high concentration the structure of the fondant and marzipan will not changes when these flavors are added. Also suitable for hard candy, general candy making, cakes, cookies, chocolates, frosting, ice cream and a wide variety of other baking and confectionery applications.
For best results, we recommend the following guidelines for use:
Wipe up spills quickly as prolonged contact with plastic and counter tops may cause damage.
Do not use plastic measuring spoons and utensils.
Avoid direct contact with skin when product is used full-strength. Some flavors such as cinnamon and almond are particularly potent.
Ingredients: propylene glycol, artificial flavor, water, alchol. This product is Kosher, sugar free, contains no vegetable oils, contains natural and artificial flavors, mostly soluble in water and can be used with chocolate.
