Creamy Strawberry Milkshake with Shortbread & Almond Crunch
A rich and creamy strawberry milkshake blended with fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream and shortbread biscuits, finished with whipped cream, toasted almonds and strawberry topping. Perfect for dessert menus, cafés, events or at home.
Ingredients
- 30ml Edlyn Strawberry Topping
- 115g Fresh Strawberries (hulled)
- 5ml Vanilla Extract
- 15g Granulated Sugar
- 190g Vanilla Ice Cream
- 100ml Full Cream Milk
- 3 Shortbread Biscuits
- 20g Toasted Almonds
- 1 can Whipped Cream
Method
Step 1
Place hulled fresh strawberries, vanilla extract, sugar and 1 pump of Edlyn Strawberry Topping into a blender and pulse until the strawberries are fine and juicy. Set aside.
Step 2
Add ice cream, milk, 2 pumps of Edlyn Strawberry Topping and 2 shortbread biscuits into a milkshake mixer or blender. Blend until combined and smooth.
Step 3
Pour part of the strawberry syrup mixture into the bottom of the glass, then run the remaining syrup along the inside of the glass. Pour the milkshake mixture into the glass.
Step 4
To serve, top with whipped cream, toasted almonds and a fresh strawberry. Drizzle with Edlyn Strawberry Topping and serve with a shortbread biscuit on the side.
