Fun Foods Direct · Halloween Donut Decorating Bundle
Bring Halloween to your donut table.
Make a coordinated selection of Halloween donuts with one cake donut mix and three finishing ingredients. The Halloween Donut Decorating Bundle brings together Classic Cake Donut Mix, Premium Cinnamon Sugar Blend, Orange Topping Jimmies Sprinkles and Chocolate Topping Jimmies Sprinkles.
Prepare the donuts, choose your finishes and arrange a platter with a clear orange, chocolate-brown and golden cinnamon theme. It is a practical starting point for family celebrations, a decorating activity or a seasonal café special.
4 included productsCake-style donutsCinnamon · Orange · Chocolate
The bundle contains one pack of each of the four products below. Each has a different job, from making the donut base to adding sweetness, colour and texture.
01 / Prepare the base
Classic Cake Donut Mix
Create cake-style ring donuts with a tender, cake-like centre. The mix is the starting point for both cinnamon-coated donuts and decorated varieties, so you can build a varied platter from one base. Follow the current pack directions for mixing, resting and cooking, then decide which donuts to coat and which to decorate.
Give part of your batch a familiar sweet cinnamon finish. After cooking, allow excess frying oil to drain and coat these donuts while they are still warm to help the sugar adhere. This creates a simple option alongside the more colourful designs and adds a golden finish to your serving platter.
The orange jimmies give your donuts a pumpkin-inspired colour without needing a complicated design. Add them over a suitable icing or glaze before the surface sets. Try a full orange top, a light scattering or one half of a two-colour finish. Any icing or glaze needs to be purchased separately.
Also known as Choclettes, these chocolate-flavoured strands bring a chocolate-brown finish that contrasts with the orange sprinkles. Use them on their own, alternate orange and chocolate designs or combine the two in a small decorating bowl. The same sprinkles can finish other frosted desserts you prepare separately.
The four listed products are included. Icing or glaze, cooking oil, equipment, utensils and serving decorations are separate purchases. Choose a suitable icing or glaze if you want the sprinkles to adhere to the top of your donuts.
Plan the cooking and decorating as separate stages. The standard guide on the individual donut mix page uses 500ml of cool water per 1kg of dry mix and a 10-minute batter rest. Follow the current supplied pack instructions for your batch and cooking equipment.
1
Mix and prepare
Measure the mix and water accurately, combine as directed and allow the recommended resting time. Organise your cooking area before starting, and keep the decorating ingredients ready in separate clean containers.
2
Cook, then choose the finish
Cook the donuts according to the mix instructions and your equipment guide. Drain excess frying oil where applicable. Separate the batch into donuts for cinnamon coating and donuts for icing and sprinkles.
3
Coat the cinnamon donuts while warm
Apply the cinnamon sugar to the warm portion of the batch, turning to cover the surface. Set these aside for serving. Keep some plain donuts separate if guests will be decorating their own.
4
Cool, coat and decorate
Let the donuts intended for icing cool appropriately. Apply your separately purchased coating, then add orange sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles or both before it sets. Allow the decorated surfaces to set before arranging the platter.
Three finishes for one Halloween theme
Pumpkin-colour tops
Cover the top of an iced donut with orange sprinkles for a bold, simple Halloween finish. Repeat the same design across a few donuts and group them together on the tray. The colour creates the theme without requiring detailed piping.
Orange-and-chocolate halves
Decorate one half with orange jimmies and the other with chocolate jimmies. Work over a tray to catch loose sprinkles and keep a clear line between the colours. A repeated half-and-half design makes a coordinated party selection.
Golden cinnamon favourites
Serve cinnamon sugar donuts alongside the decorated varieties. Their simple golden coating gives guests another choice and balances the brighter colours on the display. This is also a useful option for anyone who prefers a donut without icing.
Set up a relaxed decorating station
Prepare and cook the donuts in advance of the decorating activity. Set out cooled plain donuts, a suitable icing or glaze, small bowls of sprinkles and clean utensils. Keep the decorating table separate from the cooking area so guests can concentrate on finishing their treats.
Show one or two example designs, then let people choose their own pattern. Adults can handle the cooking and preparation while children decorate cooled donuts. Put finished creations on a separate tray and identify the cinnamon, orange and chocolate options so the final selection is easy to browse.
For café counters, parties and seasonal menus
For a café or market trial, start with a small batch and choose a few repeatable designs. Note your donut size, coating amount and sprinkle coverage before scaling up. At home, the same planning helps you organise the dessert table: choose the designs, prepare the toppings and leave time for cooking, cooling and setting. The number of finished donuts depends on portion size and preparation method; decorating coverage also affects how far each topping goes.
Finish your Halloween dessert plan
Explore these related collections when you need a coating, more decorating choices or another dessert base. Products in these collections are sold separately from the four-product bundle.
Icing & Glazes
Choose a suitable donut coating to hold the sprinkles and create your preferred finish.
No. It contains cake donut mix and three finishing ingredients. You prepare and cook the donuts, then add the cinnamon sugar or your chosen decorated finish.
Is icing or glaze included?
No. Icing and glaze are separate purchases. They provide a suitable surface for the sprinkles to stick to, so choose a coating that works with your recipe and the finish you want.
Can I buy the four products individually?
Yes. Use the product buttons in the bundle guide above to view the donut mix, cinnamon sugar, orange sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles separately. Each link opens the matching Fun Foods Direct product page.
How many donuts can I make?
The yield depends on the amount of mix used, donut size and cooking method. Follow the supplied mix directions and make a trial batch if you are planning quantities for an event. Coating and sprinkle coverage will also vary.
Can I use the sprinkles on other desserts?
Yes. They can finish suitably iced cupcakes, cookies, brownies and other frosted treats. Those desserts and any extra ingredients are prepared or purchased separately from this bundle.
Where should I check storage and allergen information?
Read the current labels on all four products. Follow their storage and after-opening instructions, keep dry ingredients protected from moisture and check any icing, glaze or other ingredients you add to the finished donuts.
