- Add 10-15g of salt (optional) and 90-100g of butter (optional) to 3 litres of hot water and stir until melted.
- Place 1kg of potato flakes into a large mixing bowl.
- Pour hot liquid over the flakes.
- Gently stir until combined and smooth.
- Allow mash to sit for 1–2 minutes to fully absorb liquid.
- Fluff with a whisk or fork before serving.
- Adjust consistency with extra hot water or milk if required.
Can add 250–500 ml of Hot Milk (optional for creamier mash)
